Evaluation
"13 Reasons Why" is a great book for teenagers. Everyday teens deal with issues that they are not comfortable to talk about with an adult. Some issues that teens deal with is either, weight, rumors, family, or suicide. Unfortunately in school most of these issue are hidden and will never be seen until something happens that will prevent that specific student to not show up in school the next few days or, even weeks. All of this leads me back to the book "13 Reasons Why" because, it talks about a girl, Hannah Baker who committed suicide. Throughout the book she explains why she committed suicide. In every situation Hannah is in she makes herself known and shows her pain, but not one of her so called "friends" picks up on her pain. Hannah does make an attempt to get help from a teacher who sees her pain and tries to talk it out and help her make a rational decision about her life. Hannah unfortunately leaves upset, leaving the teacher in the classroom feeling like a failure not being able to help her escape her fate.
